Ungarn ist in dieser Woche für 3 Tage die Station der LET-Tour. Im Old Lake Golf & Country Club (Budapest) wird vom 13.-15. Juli die OTP Bank Open ausgetragen.
Auf dem anspruchsvollen, risikoreichen Course am Alten See wird nicht nur um den Turniersieg und Positionen im LET-Gesamtklassement gekämpft, man jagt auch nach Punkten, die zur Teilnahme an den größten Ereignissen der Golfszene berechtigen. Diese wunderschöne Anlage erstreckt sich über 5695 mtr. bei PAR 71. Der Pflegezustand des Platzes lässt keine Wünsche offen und wird somit zu einem guten Turnierstart beitragen.
Anja's Kommentar zur 2. Runde:
She joked that she was “too lazy” to go to the driving range in the break and the putting practice paid off after she realised that the greens had sped up considerably. “I saw one of my colleagues putt and it went very long because she thought the greens would have slowed down so I think I did the right thing,” said the tall blonde Monke. “The delay didn’t affect me at all. We sat down, had a chat and lots of laughs; a couple of drinks and an ice cream. It went quickly.”
